'The Young Marketer' blog is not just an opinion tool on marketing practices but also a gathering place for good books that delight the reader. Under the sand theme, I will be reviewing books I have read and loved and will be rating them on a five point scale.
I will be glad to accept review copies of books (who does not like free books?) I accept only hard copies of the book. The postal address will be provided on request. As a rule, I promise to review only the books that interest me. Prior to sending a copy, do drop me an e-mail at the below given mail address.
Towards the end of the calendar year, I pick up the top five annual reads (Indian writing only) and put up the detailed review on my website, so if your book is being reviewed here, there is every chance that you qualify to make it to the list. The firang reviews are something that I do for fun but even they are welcome to send me review copies, if they wish (Indian writers, rejoice, they don't qualify for the annual top-reads list!)
The review will be an analysis of the plot, protagonists, good and bads of the novel/story/poem, notes on the author, and, of course, my take on the book. The review can be reproduced with proper credits and permission. As a rule, I only promise to write honest reviews and I cannot be influenced by a coffee, dosa or money and other such bland things. So expect nothing but the truth... and some criticism is always part and parcel of the business.
